I have a dream of a better human society. A lot of people have that and that’s great! My dream is about a better society in which human brain and body capacities are used at a higher level in a responsible way. I believe that the way to get there is through education… I don’t mean a better education than it is now, I mean a different education approach.

One may wonder why I chose business administration (especially marketing) as my field if I have such idealistic dreams. The answer is simple: because businesses have a huge impact on people’s lives - as consumers, as employees or as owners. Business is as important to spreading “good” into society as blood is for spreading a medicine into a body.

I believe that the key to a better business environment is the understanding of basic human actions and motivations. Science has yielded already a lot of knowledge on how basic human functions can be used to enhance the outcome of businesses. I suggest that this knowledge can be used the other way around – to use these findings for the best of consumers without damaging businesses’ benefits in the long term.

I believe that knowledge is truly useful when it is in the hands (brains) of the people who can actually do good for others by using it. Yet most of the (formal) knowledge is not where it is needed. I have of dream of helping to get that knowledge where it is needed and to present (share) it in a way that will increase the chances of its responsible use.
